2015 Florida Bicycle Best Practices Workshop

The Florida Bicycle Best Practices Workshop will take place in conjunction with WHEELS in South Florida on Saturday, November 14, from 3pm-5pm. This workshop is open to anyone who wishes to learn or share ideas with other bicycle enthusiasts to be part of the solution for Florida bicycling concerns.  Special guest Billy Hattaway, Florida Department of Transportation District 1 Secretary, will share his observations on current best practices and insights to FDOT’s Complete Streets policy.

Successful stories of becoming a League of American Bicyclists Bicycle Friendly Community, partnering with a county tourism department to develop route maps for visitors and using grant money to produce a trail etiquette public service announcement will be shared by current registered participants.  What’s your story to share?  Join the conversation!
