Going Rogue
The Ask is On, and as I discovered this past weekend, the “Ask” works both ways. I ask for your support to become a member of the Florida bicycle Association, and maybe you ask me to come out to your event. Not only could it happen if my schedule allows it, but it did happen at the Rogue Pub Bike Fest on Saturday.

This Bike Fest was a casual gathering to celebrate cycling. There were no scheduled rides of 35 or 60 miles; nope, not that kind of bike fest. This was a kick back, enjoy the afternoon type of bike fest where you met up with cycling buddies or met new cycling buddies in the comfort of a pub serving fine beer, wine and food. There was live music and various types of bikes to check out from those that rode in. Retro City Cycles was on hand as were members of Orlando Bike Polo. OK, who knew Orlando had Bike POLO? Just wait, I asked Patrick to guest blog and tell the story.
How about you? Do you have an event you would like Florida Bicycle Association to attend? We stand at the ready with give-away goodies, like the Florida Bicycle Law Enforcement Guide and Florida Bicycle Street Smarts, along with an ability to answer the tough questions, like “Where’s the bathroom?” or “How is that Summer Helles?” (Answers: Down the hall on the left; Quite refreshing)
