Ghost Bike

Today, a moment.  A moment to remember and reflect.  A moment to acknowledge.

A moment to also dream..not of what could have been, but what will be, in honor of those lost.  A moment to find in yourself the peace and conviction to obey traffic laws and to be courteous, especially when those around you don’t understand.  Safety doesn’t happen by accident.

In honor of every ghost bike, let’s take a moment and vow to ourselves to be “Roll Models”, to pay attention and respectfully Ride Big.

Editor’s note:  For those Florida Bicycle Association members in the Tampa Bay area, or non-members for that matter, the FBA annual membership meeting will be held in Oldsmar this Saturday, October 17, from noon until 4PM at the City of Oldsmar Fire Rescue Training room, 225 Pine Avenue North.  Meetings are not for everyone, but if you find yourself in the area, please consider attending this one.
