Meanwhile, Florida Bicycle Association got back to work at the end of July with a quarterly Board of Directors meeting in Sarasota. A post meeting ride on the Legacy Trail was guided by Friends of the Legacy Trail Board Director Darryl Lang (thanks for the photo, Darryl).

The following week, FBA attended the quarterly Florida Department of Transportation Pedestrian and Bicycle Safety Coalition. Holding the Alert Today Alive Tomorrow safety baton is FDOT’s Richard Shine, chair of the Driver Education and Licensing / Legislation, Regulation and Policy committee.

Last weekend, FBA had the pleasure to give a guided tour of the Oldsmar Trail to Trent Phillips, Legislative Aide to Representative James Grant, District 64 (Oldsmar is in District 64).

And this week, FBA is attending the Florida Department of Transportation’s Transplex Summit.
